Campers get to participate in our interactive Bones Rock! presentation, that includes hands on activities and their own mining experience. Attendees get to see and touch our dinosaur exhibit including dinosaur eggs, dinosaur claws, skull and horn sections, trilobites, megaladon teeth and much, much more! Campers love to touch a dinosaur bone that is over 65 million years old and find and identify fossils they get to keep. Their experience begins with a 45 minute interactive presentation that shows campers what it's like to be a paleontologist, what fossils are, make a fossil, and learn tons of fascinating facts as we look at fossils from various species over millions of years. Then they get to look and touch these pieces as they tour our exhibit and then participate in a fossil excavation to show what they've learned. The program ends with our fossil mining experience that includes a bag to store their treasures in and an identification card.
